John Eikenberry

 John has over 42 years of financial service experience. With our main office in Sidney, OH and a branch office in Lima, OH we have built a large clientele comprised of individuals, small business owners, and retirees.

John is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) Top of the Table, the Lima Ohio Chapter of the National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors (NAIFA), and the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. John also formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Salvation Army. Our office is an Accredited Business with the Better Business Bureau.

John resides in Sidney with his wife, Sharon. He has 3 children and 1 grandson. John enjoys being outdoors as much as he can. The foundation of his practice is based on his honesty, integrity and commitment to client satisfaction.


Nick Boeckman, CFP®

Nick has joined Eikenberry Retirement Planning in February of 2012 and will be instrumental in our business continuity plan along with managing the daily activities of the office, including new business, client services, marketing, conducting educational financial workshops and client appreciation events.

Nick came to us after working for New England Financial in Columbus. He received his B.A. in accounting, finance and financial services from Wright State University.

Nick was awarded his CFP® certification in 2016. The CFP® marks identify those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas:  the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning.  CFP® professionals also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards. Nick holds insurances licenses for life, health/accident and annuities in Ohio. He also is an Investment Advisor Representative.

Nick is a graduate of Fort Loramie High School and currently resides in Maria Stein with his wife, Jenna and three sons, Jackson, Dane & Nolan. He enjoys volleyball, basketball, boating, traveling, and being outdoors.


Luke Bertke

Luke joined Eikenberry Retirement Planning in April of 2017 and is an integral part of our daily activities in the office, including new business, client services, marketing, conducting educational financial workshops, and facilitating client appreciation events.

Luke is a 2013 graduate of Princeton University in Princeton, NJ. He holds insurance licenses for life, health/accident, annuity, and Long-Term Care as well as a Series 65 securities registration. Luke aligns himself with our company’s core values of honesty, service, and integrity.

Luke comes to us with a strong education and has previous experience working at Leugers Insurance in Maria Stein and Federated Insurance in Lima. He will prove to be an asset not only to the immediate staff but also to our company as a whole.

Luke is a graduate of Marion Local High School and currently resides in Maria Stein with his wife, Veronica and two daughters, Adeline & Charlotte. 

Operations Team


Marsha Jones, Account Manager


Marsha is an Account Manager for the office and is licensed to sell Life & Health Insurance in Ohio. She handles all Life and Long-Term Care Insurance, as well as Annuity customer service.  Marsha has been with our firm for over fourteen years.

A native of Shelby County, she resides in Sidney.  Marsha and her late husband Bob have one son and four grand-children. She is a member of First Christian Church.  Marsha is also a member of the American Legion and VFW Auxiliaries.  Supporting our veterans is very important to her, and she has shown her support by being an active member of both organizations and an Officer for many years in the VFW Auxiliary.  Marsha enjoys traveling, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family.


Donna Calloway, Office Manager


Donna is our Receptionist/Office Manager and handles all of the day to day internal operations of the office.

Donna started with us in February 2016.  She has handled all of our appointment scheduling, mail sorting, and planning of client events since that time.  She truly has a strong belief in our company values and she keeps our office running smoothly.

Donna lives in Piqua and is married to her husband, Brian. Together, they have three grown children and five grandchildren. Outside of the day to day activities at Eikenberry Retirement planning, Donna enjoys the outdoors, boating, camping, and traveling.
